I am a software engineer by choice and trade. I love writing code and have pretty much dabbled in many different technologies and languages over the past 30 years. I spent seven great years in the United States Marine Corp. I am an above average golfer, I coached many of my kids sports – basketball, baseball, softball, and football (I love coaching) and I love reading and writing about technology – and that’s why I blog! I play some first person shooters every now and then on the XBox with my kids but that is usually in the winter. I also love snowboarding and traveling with the family.
Currently I am a Distinguished Engineer and CTO of the Watson Customer Engagement Strategy & Offering Management team at IBM. LinkedIn Profile. My job is multi-faceted in that I work on portfolio product strategy, definition, delivery, and roadmap along with our sales team for our go to market strategy. This includes offerings in our Marketing, Commerce, and Supply Chain pillars along with integrations with our business partner eco-system.
